According to Kana and Chris, they met around 11 years ago at Journey Church. The exact time is still up for discussion. They spent a few years as friends, some as neighbors, and finally some as a couple. They were waiting for their kids to leave for school before they truly considered a relationship. However, if you ask their kids this is how the story goes. Kana and Chris met around 2010, exact time still unknown. This then brought together their girls, who are more observant than given credit for. We saw the spark instantly. We knew before they did that they would be where they are today.
